Yavnit Reconnecting

 Hey readers/blogger

We have been learning about reconnecting with our family members or neighbours. It is important to think about mental health and to take time to korero (talk). It is mental health awareness week and that's why we are learning about it.  I want to meet my grandparents that are in Fiji and see what they have been doing in lock down for a long time. Here are two of my drawings.

Here is my second one

I hope you enjoyed this blog. Please comment and remember to "take time to korero."

  1. I hope that you get to see your family in Fiji soon Yavnit. It's hard with Covid happening which stops our travel plans.
How long has it been since you saw them last?.
    Have a great week.

    1. Hi Mrs Cassidy, thanks for commenting on my blog. I have no idea how long it has been but we talk on the phone with them. I think they came to New Zealand in 2020 or 2019. I hope you are having a good day.

  2. Kia ora Yavnit,
This is a great way to connect with your Grandparents that you haven't spoken to in a while. I wonder if you have talked to them during the holidays?
Have a great rest of the break!
    Whaea Miki
